Sick
We are sick.
Some tips on being sick:
- Keep ginger ale in the house, because once you need it, you won't feel like going out.
- On very chapped lips, use Vitamin E. It doesn't sting. It's very healing and protective. It doesn't taste good enough or bad enough to lick off.
- Clean out your medicine cabinet so it stops falling on you.
- Drink lots of water.
- But not from anyone else's cup.
- Because even though you both are sick, the germs are DIFFERENT.
- A kindergartener can rack up a lot of homework in 3 days of missed school.
- Wailing is not a happy sound.
- Especially in the middle of the night.
- Smell is more reliable than looks on telling if something will make you throw up.
- Smell isn't 100% either.
- The laundry is not going to get caught up.
- This too, shall pass.
