Sick

We are sick.

Some tips on being sick:
  • Keep ginger ale in the house, because once you need it, you won't feel like going out.
  • On very chapped lips, use Vitamin E. It doesn't sting. It's very healing and protective. It doesn't taste good enough or bad enough to lick off.
  • Clean out your medicine cabinet so it stops falling on you.
  • Drink lots of water.
  • But not from anyone else's cup.
  • Because even though you both are sick, the germs are DIFFERENT.
  • A kindergartener can rack up a lot of homework in 3 days of missed school.
  • Wailing is not a happy sound.
  • Especially in the middle of the night.
  • Smell is more reliable than looks on telling if something will make you throw up.
  • Smell isn't 100% either.
  • The laundry is not going to get caught up.
  • This too, shall pass.
